Professor Burdick teaches financial and managerial accounting, Financial Activities
for Nonprofits, Accounting Communication and Professional Development, and Cases in
Accounting. Before coming to Aquinas, Professor Burdick served as an adjunct instructor
at several colleges in southeast Michigan. While working in public accounting, Professor
Burdick specialized in taxation. He then went on to manage two accounting departments--one
in a corporate setting and the other in a nonprofit organization. He is a member of
the Michigan Association of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, and the American
Accounting Association.
