The Aquinas College AQ and You Program is an outreach program to high school students of color throughout the state sponsored by the Aquinas Multicultural Affairs and Admissions Departments. Today, July 21, from 1:30-3:45 p.m. in the Academic Building, 32 AQ and You students will be leading 40 Burton Middle School students in character building exercises including conversations and skits. From 3:45 to 4:30 p.m., all of the students will make character bracelets while enjoying an ice cream social in the Wege Student Center Cafeteria. Program coordinators are Stacey Jackson, director of multicultural affairs at Aquinas and Damon Bouwkamp and Dana Samotis-Bensinger of the admissions department.
