professor of music, will be presented in concert on Thursday, December 5, at 7:30
p.m. in the Aquinas College Art and Music Center, Kretschmer Recital Hall. The concert
is free and a reception will follow.
Among the composers whose music will be played are Philip Corner, Johanna Beyer and Rupert Kettle, as well as Alexander Lepak and Plutarco Guzman. Student flutist Sarah Makowski will be featured in "Ariadne" for flute and percussion, by Lou Harrison. John Cage's "But what about the noise of crumpling paper..." will include a slide presentation based on the art of Jean Arp, prepared and executed by Kurt Kaiser, professor of art at Aquinas.
