Aquinas College commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Michigan Colleges Foundation and renews its commitment to environmental stewardship with a Tree Planting Ceremony Thursday, September 6, 2001.

As part of the 3 p.m. ceremony, Robb Bajema, Ph.D., Aquinas Assistant Professor of Biology, will speak on ?Aquinas College and Environmental Stewardship.? This will be a message expressing Aquinas? continuing dedication to the preservation of our natural resources. The Aquinas community is encouraged to attend this celebration. A reception will follow in the Holmdene Gardens.


The Michigan Colleges Foundation (MCF) has provided support for quality liberal arts education for 50 years. In this time span the foundation has raised nearly $60 million for its member colleges.

MCF works with business, industry and private foundations to ensure that its member colleges and universities have the resources necessary to meet the needs of their students.
