How to receive and send mail at Aquinas
Location
The Mailroom is located on the third floor of the Academic Building, room 353 (AB 353), across from the ITS Help Desk. The phone number is 616-632-2142. The Mailroom is managed by Information Technology & Services.

Holiday Breaks | The Mailroom is closed during holiday breaks. U.S. Mail/packages that arrive when the College is closed are held and delivered to on-campus residents/mailboxes on the first business day following the break. |

Mailroom Services
These services are available to all Aquinas students, faculty, and staff.
Personal Mail
- Mail is delivered to all resident halls/program houses and administrative offices Monday through Friday. The time of delivery depends on the availability of Mailroom student workers.
- Faculty and administrative offices in the Academic Building and Holmdene have mailboxes in the Faculty/Staff Lounge (AB 11).
- Charges for personal mail are recorded and processed through the Business Office.
- The mailroom does not sell stamps.
- Outgoing U.S. mail leaves the Mailroom Monday through Friday at 3 p.m.
Packages
- Packages are delivered to the Mailroom Monday through Friday by U.S. Mail, UPS, and FedEx. Amazon packages are delivered to two Amazon Lockers on campus.
- A package arrival notification is sent to students, staff, and faculty via email.
- Students and faculty can pick up packages in the Mailroom during business hours.
- Shipping is available via U.S. Postal Service and UPS/FedEx prepaid return shipping.
- All FedEx return shipping MUST be called in for pickup by the sender. The Mailroom will not call for pickup.
- Academic and Administrative departments with offices in the Academic Building and Holmdene can pick up packages in the Mailroom during regular business hours. Departments located elsewhere on campus will have their packages delivered to them if the package is under 30 lbs. If packages are over 30 lbs, arrangements must be made for delivery or pick up.
- Students must present a valid Aquinas ID to pick up a package.
Faculty Mailboxes
Faculty mailboxes are now located in the Faculty & Staff Lounge (Academic Building 11), accessible via a card-swipe access lock.
Amazon Lockers
We're excited to announce that there are now two Amazon Lockers available on campus for your convenience! Students, Faculty and Staff can pick up their packages 24/7 from these secure lockers named:
- Artificer: Located outside the Grace Hauenstein Library.
- Affiliate: Located at the rear entrance of the Sturrus Sports Center.
How to Use the Lockers:
- Shop and Checkout at the Amazon store: Add items to your cart and proceed to checkout.
- Select a Delivery Address: On the "Select a delivery address" page, click "Add a new address."
- Find a Locker: Scroll down and choose “Find an Amazon Locker near you.” Enter "Aquinas" to find the lockers.
- Choose Your Locker: Select either "Artificer" or "Affiliate" as your delivery location.
- Complete Your Order: Continue with your order as usual. You’ll receive a notification and a unique code when your package is ready for pickup.
Important: You have 3 days to pick up your package once it’s delivered to the locker. If you don't pick it up within this time, Amazon will retrieve the package and issue a refund for the item.
It’s a secure and convenient way to ensure you can pick up your packages whenever it suits you.
