Frequently Asked Questions: Nursing Transfer Students
Who is considered a transfer student?
A transfer student classification is for any student with college credit who graduated from high school more than one year ago. Any student who has already completed one or more undergraduate degrees is not eligible to apply for the program.
What are the requirements to be admissible into the program?
Transfer students must have a minimum cumulative college GPA of 3.0 overall, as well
as a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA within all math and sciences courses. Once the director
has received your application along with all of your transcripts, it will be evaluated
on an individual basis.
How many credits can I transfer into the program?
Transfer students are allowed to transfer in a maximum of 32 credits from another
institution, and transfer students will have four years in the program regardless
of how many credits are able to transfer in.
