The Aquinas College Women's Lacrosse team made a strong impression on its opponent
in the team's first home game in its inaugural season in the Women's Collegiate Lacrosse
League Division 2 -- Northwest Division. Coach Frank Rogers led his Lady Saints to
a powerful 15-3 victory over the Hope College Flying Dutchman Tuesday afternoon.
The victory pushes the Saints overall record to 4-1 on the young season. The Saints
were led by the play of Kati Rogers, who recorded five goals and three assists. Michelle
Murphy also performed well in her first home game as she scored a goal and dished
out five assists. Breanne Stockall was solid in net as she stopped eleven of 14 shots
on goal.
