Seven area colleges compete to see who has the best business idea

(Grand Rapids, Mich.) – The Regional Idea Pitch Competition brings together the winners
of local collegiate Business Plan Competitions in a tournament of champions. Contestants
will represent seven local colleges including: Aquinas College, Davenport University,
Calvin College, Hope College, Cornerstone University, Grand Valley State University,
and Grand Rapids Community College. The event is sponsored by the West Michigan Colleges
and Universities Group, a consortium of the seven participating colleges and universities,
with the goal of collectively supporting student-oriented entrepreneurial events.
