Heritage Theatre Group's production of Shakespeare's Two Gentlemen of Verona runs
from July 8-18 and features an Aquinas student and a faculty member as performers.
Senior Rachael Pineiro (performing as Lucetta/Hostess) will be acting in her first Shakespearean play, but she hopes to do many more. Rachael has performed in Aquinas productions of Ruthless, Sun, Stand Thou Still, Esperanza Rising, Hecuba, and Arabian Nights; as well as Guys and Dolls with Circle Theatre. Rachel is majoring in theatre and English.
Michael Dodge, M.A., (performing as Antonio / The Duke) teaches humanities at the College and is happy to return for his second Heritage production. He debuted last year as Grumio in Taming of the Shrew; other recent appearances onstage include Roger Sherman in 1776 and King Maximilian in Cinderella (both at Civic Theatre).
