LOGISTICS AND DRIVE IN SCHEDULE

Move-In for New Students to Aquinas (First-Year and Transfer Students for Fall 2024)

**An email was sent out to all new students regarding move-in instructions. You may find this email on your Housing Portal under the "Messages" Menu option.**

Move in will take place on August 15 for New Students. All students will check-in at the Check-In Station first and then be directed to their residence hall. If you are unable to arrive during the scheduled move-in time, please complete the Special Arrival Request Form to request special move-in arrangements.

Move-in for new students participating in STAR on August 14 will occur on August 13 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

All students will check-in at Regina Hall first and then be directed to their residence hall (if not Regina). If you are unable to arrive during the scheduled move-in time, please complete the Special Arrival Request Form to request special move-in arrangements.

Move-In for New Students Participating in the AQ Bridge Community Program

Move-in for new students participating in the Aquinas Bridge Community Program will occur on August 4 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Keys will be available at the Campus Safety Office. Bridge students will be moving into their Fall 2024 housing assignment and will not need to relocate at the end of the program. Students are welcome to remain on-campus in between the conclusion of summer Bridge activities and the start of New Student Orientation. If you are unable to arrive during the scheduled move-in time, please complete the Special Arrival Request Form to request special move-in arrangements.

Move-In for Students Participating in the STEM Program

STEM Program participants will move into their Fall 2024 housing assignment on Monday, August 12 between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Check-in will be at the front desk of Regina Hall. Students will collect their keys and information packet at check-in. Volunteers will be available to help move items into the residence halls beginning at 10:00 AM but not before then, so please plan to arrive at 10:00 AM at the earliest.

Move-In for Returning Students

Move-in for returning students will occur on August 16 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. All students will check-in at the Library before heading to their residence hall. Returning students who are not able to move in on August 16 should complete the Special Arrival Request Form to request special move-in arrangements. Aquinas welcomes all returning students to join our community for Welcome Week. More details about Welcome Week are coming soon!

Student Athletes

Fall athletes will receive move-in date & time information from their coach.

  • Women's Volleyball and Women's Soccer will move-in on August 4 between the hours of 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
  • Men's Soccer will move-in on August 9 between the hours of 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

  • Keys will be available at the Campus Safety Office. Students will be directed to their building after check-in.

Students that need to request a different time should complete the Special Arrival Request Form to request special move-in arrangements.

Global Students

New Global Student move-in will take place on August 12. Students will participate in Global Student Orientation to begin on August 13. Keys will be available for pickup at our Campus Safety Office. Students that need to request a different time should complete the Special Arrival Request Form to request special move-in arrangements.

Returning Students in Leadership or Involvement Roles

Returning students who serve in leadership or involvement roles at the College (OLs, DAs, Front Desk Staff, etc.) that could potentially necessitate a special move-in should consult with the department that sponsors the opportunity.

  • Resident Assistant Staff: August 2 (Check-in at Campus Safety)
  • Bridge Staff: August 4
  • Diversity Assistants: Coming Soon
  • Front Desk Staff: August 9-12 (Check-in at Campus Safety)

  • Orientation Leaders: Coming Soon

Additional Move-In Information and Logistics

It is important that families aim to arrive as close to their scheduled time as possible. This helps us stagger move-in and encourage a smooth process.
